Author Shihan Dana Abbott spent 14 years in Yokahama, Japan, extensively studying the Japanese sword. Altogether Shihan Abbott has spent over a quarter of a century perfecting his practice of the sword arts. Abbott has taught and conducted seminars in over 30 countries. As a 7th Dan in the sword art of Goshindo, Abbott has many awards recognizing his talent with the sword. Shihan Dana Abbott has several books in print. Author Jon Boyd spent 23 years in the Air Force, 10 years in the defense industry and is now studying and teaching archaeology. Boyd concentrates on observation and awareness and how it applies to the experience in the world now and in years past. Jon Boyd's writing provides us with a better understanding of how to use observation and awareness to keep ourselves safe and to see more of our world. Jon Boyd has 4 books currently in print. Author John W. Casey spent 27 years at North American Aviation where he developed their aftersales engineering and technical services department in support of the military in peace and throughout WWII, the Korean Conflict and the advent of the Space Age. Later, Casey's 12 years with Vought included overseeing the Tech Rep program during delivery of aircraft to the Navy and the Air Force for deployment to duty in Vietnam. John W. Casey's first book Warriors Without Weapons provides us with detailed accounts of the civilian men who never fired a shot but accompanied military aircraft throughout the 20th century's major conflicts. Author i Cavalcanti uses fiction to share his thoughts with the goal of enabling readers to acquire a more natural concept about humanity, life, earth, and universe, and how all these things relate to each other. Author Lin Conklin spent 23 years in the defense industry and currently teaches sword arts (kendo, chanbara, iaito, traditional). Author Daniel T. Denman has worked twenty plus years managing multi-million dollar projects for a water utility and has published an article on one of these projects. Author Richard (R.S.) Hunter was born in Canada where he served in the Royal Canadian Air Force and then worked on ships as a member of the Seafarer's International Union. Once he met his wife, Hunter became an American citizen. R.S. Hunter has a strong commitment to family and to God. Hunter devotes himself to telling the story of others' lives so that their legacy can exist forever. R.S. Hunter documented the fascinating and heroic life of his father-in-law, Red Campbell, in his first book, Where Eagles Fly, Remember Me.... Author Aurora Leighton-Holmes grew up in Connecticut. Leighton-Holmes moved to California when she was thirty-seven. Her love of earth-based teachings, photography and nature are evident in her writing. Aurora has an extensive Native American pottery and art collection, and she also sells Native American pieces through her online gallery, Sacred Earth Native Arts. Aurora Leighton-Holmes has one book in print and she is working on her second book. The first is a book of poems she has written over the past 5 decades called PARADOX, Poems from Life and the second is a nonfiction book detailing her training in living and surviving in the outdoors using ancient skills. Author Pam McClelland was raised in a household where money was not used responsibility. After a great military career, the money habits she learned at home left her with no savings and a bad credit score. As fate would have it, McClelland was assigned as a personal financial counselor in the Air Forces' Family Support Center. Author Ron Mead holds an M.F.A. degree from American University, Washington, D.C. Mead teaches classes in writing, literature, ethics, critical thinking, diversity, popular culture, film, and the fine arts. As a corporate trainer, Mead develops and conducts customer service, writing, management, and interpersonal communication workshops. Author Daniel Misiaszek has 30 years of public safety training and experience, beginning with his roots as a paramedic firefighter in New York, his military service in the US Army airborne infantry, his distinguished career with the San Marcos, Texas PD, and his overseas work in high threat protection and diplomatic security. Author Frank Stanford was born in the 1920s in the little village of St. Margarets-at-Cliffe, Dover, Kent, England. Stanford trained as a painter and decorator, landing a job with the Granada Cinema. Next he worked for the English Ministry of Defence responsible for keeping officers' housing repaired and ready. His next job lasted twenty-four years and was radically different; Frank Stanford worked for Marley Roof Tile Factory as their head of security. When he retired, author Frank Stanford decided to dedicate his front garden as a tribute to WWII Services and post-war, including tributes to American Forces. Stanford started a file system through the years on WWII and a visitor's book. Frank Stanford's first book, My Garden Tribute: A Collection of World War II Stories, records the true WWII stories he has been collecting and tending over the years.
Author Martin Tyner is the founder of the Southwest Wildlife Foundation, a federally licensed falconer, eagle falconer, wildlife rehabilitator, wildlife propagator, and wildlife and environmental educator. He has been providing wildlife and environmental programs throughout the western United States, to schools, scouts and community groups for over forty years.
Martin Tyner, along with wife Susan Tyner, has written his first book, Healer of Angels, which is a heartwarming collection of true stories of a young boy overcoming life's challenges and disabilities with the guidance of wise grandparents and other mentors. This process leads to a life dedicated to the rescue, healing and release of the wild creatures of the desert southwest.

Author Robert "Smoky" Vrilakas retired from the Air Force as a command pilot with over 9000 hours flying time and 51 combat missions. Vrilakas later launched a specialized machine shop in Portland, Oregon. In 1980, Vrilakas turned over the machine shop to his two sons and took up fishing and golf as his primary duties. Author John V. White, Jr., loves getting in the backyard and firing up the grill. He is a dedicated family man. He remained devoted to his late wife, Minister Mattie Shaw, from the first day he laid eyes on her (Christmas Day 1985) until her death on November 16, 2008. John V. White, Jr.'s first book, They Thought She Was Dead: The Modern Day Job, chronicles the life of Minister Mattie Shaw and all she went through in her difficult life.
