When you work with Amethyst Moon Publishing the amount of effort and work you will have to put into getting published is greatly reduced. For instance, you don't have to worry about convincing an agent to represent you, formatting your book, establishing a relationship with a printer or obtaining ISBN numbers. Working with Amethyst Moon Publishing is a good option if you are unfamiliar with the software programs necessary to prepare your book for print, do not know or care to know how to create a relationship with a printer, or if you do not want to put in the effort to format, prepare your book for print or work with a printer.
Amethyst Moon Publishing formats your writing to create your book. Book formatting is the process of taking what you have written and putting it in a format a printer can use to produce your book. Formatting includes things like picking the size of the book, selecting the font and the size of the text, choosing how headings for chapters or sections will appear, and picking the size of the margins. Other book formatting options include putting your name on the top or side of each page, placing the book's title on each page, page numbering and the placement of page numbers, scrolls or other designs, and/or the spacing between sections or chapters. Different books -- fiction, non-fiction, instructional, etc. -- read and look better with formats that support the content.
